In ancient times, sunstones were used to navigate the seas with precision, even when the sun was hidden. These powerful gemstones, with their unique polarization properties, helped explorers stay centered and find their way across the open ocean.
Inspired by this, our founder and CEO named our company Sunstone to reflect what he set out to build: an intelligence company that provides direction, exploration, and accuracy. Key Responsibilities:
Client Retention and Growth:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
- Understand client requirements, goals, and industry trends to provide tailored solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor and expert in the field to help clients achieve their objectives.
Proactive Client Engagement:
- Regularly engage with clients to assess their needs and satisfaction.
- Anticipate client challenges and offer proactive solutions to mitigate issues.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to ensure they are maximising the value from our products and services.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue opportunities to generate new business from existing clients.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement strategies for client growth.
- Negotiate and close renewals and expansion deals.
Feedback and Improvement:
- Gather and communicate client feedback to the product and R&D teams.
- Work closely with internal teams to influence product development and service improvements based on client insights.
Performance and Reporting:
- Achieve and exceed client retention and growth targets.
- Provide regular reports on client engagement, satisfaction, and growth metrics.
- Participate in strategic planning and forecasting activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a client-facing role, preferably in sales, customer success, or account management.
- Demonstrated ability to retain clients and grow accounts.
- Strong understanding of industry trends and client needs within the relevant sector.
